I am almost graduated of my Master in Instrumental Composition in the HfMT-Köln…
…but I’ve been also official accepted to study a second Master in Electronic Music by Michael Beil!
So it’s very nice to know I’ll stay a bit more in this wonderful place full of opportunities 🙂
wonderful pictures of the General Rehearsal of my Abschusskonzert by Ester Cánovas
It’s hard to believe my Master in Instrumental Composition in die HfMT-Köln is almost finished! But in order to do it, first comes my Abschlussprüfung 🙂
On the next Saturday, the 8th of June at 19:30, I am doing my Abschlusskonzert with a very special premiere. I’ve been working on “wenn ich aufhören könnte, von Dir zu träumen” [if I could stop dreaming about you] since September 2018, and on the 8th it will be finally on stage. It is a piece for Ensemble, Video and Electronics, with a very special Theatrical-Performance part; an also for the first time of my life I am not only composer but Filmmaker, Director and Plot-writer. So it will be definitely a exciting experience.
On the 3rd we start rehearsing. Willing to !!!
Another Acht Brücken project ist vorbei!
We had fun on Monday in our “Cruise-Concert”. Twice full concert with a very warm audience.
Thanks Álvaro, Elio and Ramón for the fantastic performance, thanks Doni Liu for having my music in this concert, thanks Acht Brücken for doing everything so easy and thanks to my 7 colleagues that also were premiering pieces for being so a nice crew 🙂
We are ready, we only need the boat!
Tomorrow first premiere of a few that will come in the following months.
Lines Crossed, Acht Brücken 2019.
Álvaro Arias is a very good friend here in Cologne and wonderful saxophonist from Spain. On Monday the 6th he is premiering “algo sobre el gris” and he mentioned it in this interview in SaxRules. Thanks Álvaro, looking forward 🙂
Excited to take part again in Acht Brücken Festival in Cologne. In this edition I have a premiere of a new piece for trio (Baritone Saxophone, Cello and Percussion) performed in a very special venue: a boat!
I am very thankful to Duoni Liu, curator of the project, to let me take part of such an adventure. My piece “algo sobre el gris” will be performed together with pieces from composers Jonah Haven, Pablo Garretón, Duoni Liu, Sergej Maingardt, Mazyar Kashian, Jakob Lorenz and Hannah Choi. Our great performers are Álvaro Arias (Sax.), Elio Herrera (Vc.) and Ramón Gardena (Perc.). We are all giving a different perspective to the Thema of this year’s festival: the city / Großstadt Polyphonie.
